The ALAMAU Team extends their warmest regards to you, and appreciates your dedication to the development of Africa as the agents of change in your respective communities. It is our utmost honor to welcome you to the upcoming 12th session of the African Leadership Academy Model African Union (ALAMAU). By simulating the organs of the African Union, ALAMAU aims to provide youth who are engaged in economic, political and social matters of their communities and the continent in general with a lifelong diplomatic experience. Our objective is to offer a learning opportunity to the future leaders of Africa to engage in diplomatic discussions, foster their critical thinking skills, broaden their understanding of the political context on the continent and build lifelong connections with brilliant like minded individuals. 

For over 11 years, ALAMAU has served as a flagship program for youth from all over the world, plus 50 countries each year. A cornerstone of the culminated efforts of 11+ conferences, 200+ MAU All Staff over the years, with over 1,600 delegates in our network delegate.

The theme of the conference for this year is ‘Strengthening African Institutions Towards Shared Peace and Prosperity’. African institutions functioning in different sectors like health, education, and economy further advance peace and prosperity in an integrated Africa. And we envision great contributions from you, as the future leaders of the continent, to the empowerment of these different institutions to foster peace and prosperity through insightful discussions, productive engagement, and the creation of working resolutions to current matters.

As a student-led initiative, ALAMAU stands as a testament to the power of youth cooperation and collaboration for further supreme ends that will benefit Africa. We hope to see you there, engaging in committee sessions, diplomatic round tables, cultural events, and celebrations of our rich Africa.

We anticipate that ALAMAU 2025 will be an extraordinary event, building on a decade of dialogue, research, and cultural exchange. Together, we will ignite a new era where African institutions are empowered and supported, promoting peace and prosperity in Africa.
